Golf influencer Grace Charis is back on social media after a brief hiatus, and her fans couldn't be happier. With more than three million followers each on Instagram and TikTok, the 22-year-old has become one of the sport's most recognizable online personalities.

But Charis isn't just chasing clicks — she's chasing birdies too.
Her golf journey only began during the pandemic, when her collegiate rowing career came to a sudden stop and a friend introduced her to the game. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion.

"I would post golf stuff, and it did well, so I was like, 'OK, I'll post more golf stuff,'" Charis told Sports Illustrated. "It went along with my journey of getting into the game of golf and getting deeper into the content ideas and learning that."
The content took off, but Charis admits juggling her golf career with her influencer life has been a challenge. "It's hard to do both social media and golf," she said. "Part of me just wants to play golf, and the other part of me likes making content. It took me a long time to get to a balance."

She's still figuring it out. Charis launched her own apparel company, Dialed Golf, earlier this year, calling it "where personality meets performance." And last week she made her debut on the Ladies European Tour at the Tenerife Women's Open, competing under her own brand's logo.
The results — a 26-over finish — weren't what she hoped for, but the experience was invaluable.
"Being out there competing with them, I can see where I need to grow my game," she said.

Charis has gone from knowing virtually nothing about golf to playing alongside some of the best in the world in just a few years. She insists the grind of chasing lower scores is just as fulfilling as going viral.
"Shooting low scores and playing in tournaments is a challenge," she said. "I've found a lot of self-growth in that."
With a booming brand and a desire to keep testing herself, expect Charis to keep popping up both on your feed and on the course.
