ESPN announced the news on Friday night with a press release. The Walt Disney Company has already started putting its channels back on YouTube TV after they remained absent for more than two weeks.

This comes at the perfect time for football fans considering that they will have access to the slate of Saturday games. They will also have access to Monday Night Football's matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders.

The deal includes access to all the ESPN networks, ABC, the Disney-branded channels, Freeform, the FX Networks, and the National Geographic channels. Additionally, ESPN's new direct-to-consumer service (Unlimited Plan) will become available at no extra cost to YouTube TV subscribers.

A selection of ESPN Unlimited content will also have a home inside of the YouTube TV platform. This includes live and on-demand content.

ESPN noted that select networks will be included in "various genre-specific packages" and that subscribers will have the opportunity to include the Disney+, Hulu Bundle as part of select YouTube offerings.

"This new agreement reflects our continued commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment and evolving with how audiences choose to watch,'' said Disney Entertainment Co-Chairmen Alan Bergman and Dana Walden and ESPN Chairman Jimmy Pitaro.

"It recognizes the tremendous value of Disney's programming and provides YouTube TV subscribers with more flexibility and choice. We are pleased that our networks have been restored in time for fans to enjoy the many great programming options this weekend, including college football."

The dispute first led to fans missing content on Oct. 31. ESPN removed its channels from the YouTube TV platform and angered football fans who could not watch games the following day. This dispute continued as fans missed two weeks of Monday Night Football, Formula 1's weekend in Brazil, and countless other pieces of content.

This multi-year agreement means that sports fans no longer have to stress. They can kick back and spend the weekend watching ESPN content on YouTube TV to their hearts' delight.
