Johnson and Carvana showed off the new look of the No. 84 Legacy Motor Club Toyota Camry XSE on Thursday while confirming that he will attempt to qualify for the season-opening race. The scheme will once again feature the Carvana blue along with some yellow splashes that tie into the halo in the company's logo.
This scheme reveal marks the start of the fifth year that Johnson and Carvana have collaborated. The car sales company previously supported Johnson during his time competing in the NTT IndyCar Series, and then it followed him to NASCAR as he became co-owner of Legacy Motor Club.
The Daytona 500 is the second confirmed event on Johnson's 2026 schedule. He previously announced that he will take on the inaugural San Diego street race on Naval Base Coronado.
"Carvana has been an incredible partner, and every season we've found new ways to celebrate what makes racing so special," the Legacy Motor Club owner said in a press release.
"This year's scheme is sharp, it's fresh, and I can't wait for fans to see it on the track in Daytona."
Johnson is no stranger to this crown jewel event, which kicks off the NASCAR season. He has competed in the Daytona 500 22 times, including the last three seasons. Johnson has celebrated two Daytona 500 wins (2006 and 2013), as well as a summer Daytona win (2013).
Last season's crown jewel event marked a significant moment for Johnson as he delivered his best finish in a Legacy Motor Club car. He started 40th, but he kept his car clean, especially during an overtime crash, and crossed the line in third place.
Johnson had a special Carvana scheme for last season's Daytona 500. He and the car company joined forces with NBA icon Shaquille O'Neal for a design resembling an Orlando Magic jersey. This scheme had the Carvana text along with O'Neal's "Dunkman" logo.
