McFarland, whose real name is Garrett Mitchell, showed up to Daytona with a special decal on the No. 30 Rette Jones Racing Ford. The rear of the stock car had the simple message, "Be Like Biff," referencing the way Biffle lived his life and helped those in need.

Yes, Biffle built a fanbase while winning races across all three NASCAR series, as well as championships in the lower-tier series. However, he built a legacy helping those affected by natural disasters, the less fortunate, and animals.

Biffle and McFarland became quite close in recent years. They spent extensive time away from the race track while enjoying good times, and they flew helicopter missions together in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

Biffle also joined McFarland at the race track as the YouTube personality competed part-time in the ARCA Menards Series. He even donned a sleeveless shirt as part of the friendship.

The tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of Biffle and six others happened as they were heading to Florida to visit McFarland.

Bobby Dale Earnhardt, the driver of the No. 89 Chevrolet for Rise Racing, also ran a tribute to Biffle while taking part in the ARCA preseason test.

He showed up for the preseason test with a No. 16 "Be Like Biff" decal on his stock car, which had a throwback scheme to Dale Earnhardt's time competing in the Rolex 24.

This test and the tributes took place one week ahead of the celebration of life honoring those who died in the Dec. 18 plane crash.

This public event will take place at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina, at 11 a.m. ET. NASCAR will also stream the ceremony on its website, Facebook page, YouTube channel, and official NASCAR Channel on Tubi and Xumo Play.
