Former New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman, Washington Commanders pass rusher Von Miller, and former Los Angeles Chargers tight end Antonio Gates will all compete in "The Great American Baking Show."

They, along with ESPN analyst Mina Kimes, will show off whatever baking skills they have while trying to impress the collection of judges. This includes Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. Casey Wilson and Andrew Rannells will serve as hosts.

As the trailer showed, these NFL figures are not particularly well-versed in baking. Kimes admitted that she doesn't bake often while Miller said that he had never baked in his life. He later told Edelman that he was "fighting for my life." The former Patriots receiver indicated that he was in a similar situation.

"The Great American Baking Show" celebrity special featuring these NFL figures will air on the Roku Channel. This is available on Roku TVs and the Roku streaming devices.

Miller, the second overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, is the only active player taking part in this competition. He spent 10 years with the Broncos while winning one Super Bowl.

He also spent three seasons with the Bills (2022-24), one with the Rams (2021), and one with the Commanders (2025). He won a Super Bowl with the Rams.

Edelman entered the NFL as a seventh-round pick in 2009. He spent 11 seasons with the Patriots while catching 620 passes for 6,822 yards and 36 touchdowns.

Gates, a college basketball player, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2003. He landed with the Chargers and kicked off an incredibly successful career that led to him joining the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Gates spent his entire 16-year career with the Chargers. He earned All-Pro honors three times while catching 955 passes for 11,841 yards and 116 touchdowns. He is the franchise's all-time leading receiver.
