Tennis pro Taylor Fritz is back in the headlines, but this time it's not about a match. In fact, it's about the opposite of a match.

Fritz and Morgan Riddle have split after nearly six years together, according to multiple reports.
There are a couple versions of how it ended. One source told PEOPLE that Riddle initiated the breakup. Another described it as mutual. Either way, the relationship is over.
Riddle may have tipped things off herself. She posted an Instagram photo wearing a "World's Best Ex-Girlfriend" T-shirt on April 25. Subtle enough. But also not that subtle.
Fritz and Riddle started dating back in June 2020 and quickly became one of tennis' more visible off-court pairings. Riddle leaned all the way into it, building a following with behind-the-scenes content from tournaments and making it her mission to "make tennis cool again."
That line went viral. It also drew some criticism.
Fritz didn't hesitate to back her at the time, saying her approach brought more attention to the sport and helped reach a younger audience.
And to be fair, it worked.
Riddle became a regular presence at matches, documenting life on tour through TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. From travel days to tournament outfits, she turned the tennis lifestyle into content that connected beyond the usual fan base.
Behind the scenes, they often talked about balancing busy schedules and spending long stretches together on the road. By all accounts, they made it work for a while.
Now, they're moving on.
Fritz is currently sidelined with a knee issue and has withdrawn from multiple clay court events, including Madrid. No word yet on what's next for either side personally.
But after nearly six years, one of tennis' most visible couples is officially done.
