This is the kind of thing that starts as fun... and ends with everyone wincing.

At a recent spectator drag event at Colorado National Speedway, one driver took the "run what you brung" concept a little too far. We're talking a full-size GMC Yukon XL lining up against a single-cab Ford F-150, per The Drive.
For a moment, it actually looked under control. Then it didn't.
The Yukon's driver hugged the inside line, the rear end broke loose, and that was basically it. Once the traction went, there was no saving it.
The SUV spun, snapped back the other direction, and slammed hard into the wall. Rear glass shattered. Spare tire rolling down the track. The whole scene. Not ideal.
These events are meant to be fun. Everyday drivers, everyday vehicles, a little adrenaline on a short oval. Sometimes you get a clean run. Sometimes you get... this.
The tough part is the optics. This wasn't just someone's phone video. There were cameras, commentary, the whole deal. So yeah, it made the rounds pretty quickly.
The good news is the driver reportedly walked away OK, which is what actually matters here. The Yukon did not come out nearly as lucky. It took damage from front to back on the driver's side, the kind that makes you wonder if that ride is done for good.
Lesson, as always with these things. Big vehicles, tight tracks, and a little overconfidence can turn fast.
Fun until it isn't.
