The Metro Nashville Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two thieves who broke into a baseball team's facility and stole equipment.

According to the authorities, two men entered First Horizon Baseball Park at 2:30 a.m. local time on Saturday. They then stole a number of gloves belonging to players from the Nashville Sounds Minor League Baseball team.
The video footage showed one man wearing black sandals, black pants, and a gold Nike hooded sweatshirt. The other wore black slippers, black shorts, and a black polo shirt. They did not hide their faces from the facility cameras.

"The 13 stolen baseball gloves were recovered today from a resale business that is assisting the MNPD in this investigation," the authorities later posted on social media. "Detectives are pursuing leads in regard to the thieves."
The social media users who saw the video footage and the screen capture of the two suspects certainly weighed in with thoughts on the situation. They just didn't provide particularly helpful information.
The Nashville Sounds are the Triple-A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Milwaukee Brewers. This Tennessee-based team plays in the International League, which features 20 teams.
The International League's West Division features the Nashville Sounds, Columbus Clippers, Gwinnett Stripers, Indianapolis Indians, Iowa Cubs, Louisville Bats, Memphis Redbirds, Omaha Storm Chasers, St. Paul Saints and Toledo Mud Hens.
The International League's East Division features the Buffalo Bison, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders, Charlotte Knights, Durham Bulls, Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, Norfolk Tides, Rochester Red Wings, Syracuse Mets and Worchester Red Sox.
Rochester leads the East Division as of May 18 with a 25-20 overall record. Memphis leads the West Division with a 27-18 record. Nashville is third in the West Division with a 26-19 record. The Sounds will continue the season on Tuesday with a trip to North Carolina to face off with Durham.
