According to PEOPLE, Woods returned to his home in Jupiter on May 13 after spending time out of the country following his March car crash and subsequent DUI charge.
A source told the outlet Woods "took his trip seriously" and is committed to moving forward.
"He is in good spirits and also can't wait to put the legal issues to rest," the source said.
The report also offered an update on Woods' relationship with girlfriend Vanessa Trump, saying the couple remains together and supportive of one another despite the difficult stretch.
"Vanessa and Tiger are in love, still serious, and happy to see each other," one source told PEOPLE, adding that Trump has been eager to support Woods throughout the recovery process.
Another source said the couple stayed in close contact during Woods' time away and continue balancing family responsibilities alongside the relationship.

Woods, 50, publicly announced in March that he would be stepping away to focus on treatment and his health after the rollover crash.
"I'm committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place," Woods wrote at the time.
According to PEOPLE, Woods is also eager to return to golf activities as his recovery continues, though sources noted his future involvement in the sport will depend largely on his health and physical condition.
"Golf is who he is," one golf source told the outlet. "He is not a quitter."
