Frahm announced the news with a post on Instagram. She uploaded a photo of three pairs of cowboy boots. The first pair belonged to a woman. The second pair belonged to a man. The third pair will soon belong to a baby.

She also propped a positive pregnancy test up on the smallest pair of boots, confirming that the family will soon expand.

This photo did not serve as the only confirmation. Frahm also posted another photo, which showed a Nebraska onesie, ultrasound photos, and Nebraska baby shoes.

"He has made everything beautiful in its time," Frahm posted on Instagram. "Our greatest blessing is on the way. Baby Frahm coming December 2026."

This news surfaced after the Nebraska Cornhuskers softball team took part in a successful season. The softball team swept the Big Ten Tournament while winning series over Michigan, Indiana, and UCLA.

Nebraska then swept the NCAA Regionals by defeating South Dakota and Grand Canyon University. After that, Nebraska took out Oklahoma State to capture the NCAA Super Regional.

Frahm and her team entered the 2026 College World Series in Oklahoma City as the top seed. They kicked off the College World Series by defeating Arkansas. They then exited the championship tournament after losses to Alabama and Texas.

Frahm closed out her collegiate career by hitting a home run against Texas. She also won USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year and the NFCA Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

She then filmed a video in which she read a letter of gratitude to the game of softball.

"At 23 years old, in my fifth year of college, it's hard to even put into words what you mean to me," Frahm said in her video. "Passion, heartbreak, joy, exhaustion, growth, and so much love.

"And while this chapter may be ending, the person you helped shape will stay with me forever. I can never thank you enough."
