The growth continues at Legacy Motor Club. Both of the team's full-time drivers delivered standout performances on Sunday afternoon at Pocono Raceway.

"I guess it's one team, one dream," John Hunter Nemechek said after Sunday's Cup Series race.
Nemechek scored his best finish of the season as he crossed the line in fourth place. Erik Jones scored his fourth top-10 finish as he crossed the line in sixth place.
These two drivers did not simply take advantage of strategy to get these finishes. They both showed speed throughout the race weekend at the Tricky Triangle.
Nemechek qualified eighth and started inside the top 10 for the first time this season. He led 42 laps, and he scored eight stage points. He left the race with 41 points, the second-most behind race-winner Denny Hamlin (67).
"Really solid day...everyone is working really, really hard right now, and it gives us, I guess, a solidification that we are working on the right areas," Nemechek told Prime Sports.
"The last few weeks, both the 42 and the 43 have had speed, and it's nice to finally put a decent result."
Jones, fresh off a runner-up finish at Michigan International Speedway, qualified seventh for the Cup Series race at Pocono. He also ran inside the top 10 throughout the day while scoring 10 stage points. He finished sixth and also left the track with 41 points.
Nemechek remains 26th in the Cup Series standings after 16 races, so he is still below The Chase cutline. Jones, however, has moved up the leaderboard in recent weeks. He is now above the cutline in 15th place. He has a four-point advantage over Brad Keselowski, the first driver out of a spot in The Chase.

"I'm proud of both teams," Jones said after the race. "The 42 is, I think, had speed like we have the last month, they've just been getting caught up in a lot of racing incidents, I guess you could call them.
"We've been doing a good job bringing fast cars. We had another good day, nothing spectacular I guess, just a good day."
This team has a Toyota affiliation, but it does not have an alliance with Joe Gibbs Racing. Legacy Motor Club has just forged its own path since switching from Chevrolet in 2024.
This journey has not been easy for the two-car team, which will expand to three full-time entries next season. The team has dealt with struggles, to the point that Jones only had two top-10 finishes in his first season in a Toyota Camry.
Yet, both drivers have shown patience through this process. They knew they would have a few good days mixed in with some truly difficult ones. They couldn't just automatically expect to have the same speed in their cars as the drivers at Joe Gibbs Racing and 23XI Racing.
"I mean, it's so much changed from when I signed on with (Richard Petty Motorsports) to what it is today," Jones told FanBuzz at Atlanta Motor Speedway last season. "I think there's four of us in the company that were there the day I walked in the door the first time that are still here.
"So it is hard to sometimes remember that, I guess, especially last year in the performance we were having, because we had seen success in '22 and a little bit even in '23, we started running good again. And so '24 was really tough just to feel like, man, I just took a step back and the performance wasn't there. And it wasn't getting better at the time."
One year after this chat at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Jones and Nemechek are both consistently running well. They are more regularly contending for top-10 finishes. Pocono just served as the latest example.
