Bowman posted the news on Instagram. He uploaded multiple photos showing the happy family at First Horizon Park in Nashville, Tennessee. One photo showed the couple crouching together while holding up a baby Bowman jersey and ultrasound photos. Their dog sat between them.

Another photo showed them walking across the outfield and toward a sign reading, "Baby Bowman coming September 2026." Their dog played in the background while wearing a "Big Brother" bandanna.

"Roster Update: Expecting our Rookie in September," Bowman wrote in the caption of the post.

Ashton provided more news with a post she made on Instagram. She posted a video showing herself tossing a ball up in the air for Bowman. The professional baseball player then swung and connected as blue smoke shot into the air. This confirmed that their baby will be a boy.

Bowman, a Virginia native, spent his college career pitching at Appalachian State University. He went 6-2 as a starter in 2019 while striking out 52 batters and only throwing one wild pitch.

Bowman has spent the last four years playing for teams associated with the Milwaukee Brewers. He spent 2023 split between the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the Biloxi Shuckers. He spent 2024 split between the Shuckers and Tiburones de La Guaira.

The pitcher returned to the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers in 2025. He then joined the Triple-A Nashville Sounds for this season. He has gone 3-1 as a starter so far while striking out 28 batters.

He will continue in this role as he and Ashton prepare for the new addition to their family. They will put plans in place ahead of the baby boy's arrival in September, and then they will celebrate a milestone moment in their lives.
