The wife of the San Francisco 49ers star fired back at critics this week after receiving comments about drinking alcohol while previously discussing the couple's efforts to start a family through IVF.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Claire made it clear that followers don't know nearly as much about the situation as they think.
"Hi this is your friendly reminder, just don't comment," Claire wrote. "You have absolutely no idea what phase of this process of pregnancy George and I are in."
Claire explained that she intentionally shared part of the couple's IVF experience in hopes of helping others facing similar challenges, but stressed that doesn't mean the public is entitled to every detail.
"I will never ever give you all the full picture of what's happening, especially not in real time," she wrote. "Don't assume and jump to conclusions."
The criticism apparently stemmed from photos or videos showing Claire drinking, leading some followers to question whether that aligned with the couple's IVF plans.
Claire wasn't having it.
She noted that she spent months avoiding alcohol while preparing for and undergoing IVF treatments and emphasized that she would not be drinking if she were pregnant.
"God forbid a girl celebrates an insane season of life recently," she added.
The exchange became even more pointed when Claire singled out one commenter, joking that she probably wouldn't hire the person's services after receiving what she described as an unsolicited lecture.
Claire and George Kittle have been open at times about their fertility journey. In 2023, Claire revealed she suffered an ectopic pregnancy and underwent emergency surgery after what was supposed to be a joyful holiday season.
