Broadcast Changes To Know as TNT Takes Over NASCAR Schedule

The Prime Video portion of the NASCAR season is complete, so now the attention will turn to TNT Sports. The broadcast partner will take over for the next five weeks, starting with Sonoma Raceway on June 28.

The broadcast partner change means that the NASCAR fans will have to remember multiple channels for watching practices, qualifying sessions, pre-race shows, and the races. Although HBO Max will continue to serve as the home of the in-car camera feeds.

Like last season, the practice and qualifying sessions will air on multiple platforms. They will be available on both truTV and HBO Max. The races will air on TNT, truTV, and HBO Max in "high-fidelity 1080p HDR."

The NASCAR Nation pre- and post-race shows will air on TNT, truTV, and HBO Max as Marty Smith, Jimmie Johnson, Jamie McMurray, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Steve Letarte get the fans ready for the races.

Johnson will only be a part of the pre- and post-race show at Sonoma and North Wilkesboro.

Earnhardt and Letarte will continue to work as booth analysts during the TNT Sports portion of the season, continuing a role they held with Prime Video. They will join play-by-play man Adam Alexander to call the upcoming races at Sonoma, Chicagoland, Atlanta, North Wilkesboro, and Indianapolis.

The pit reporter lineup will change for the 2026 season. Alan Cavanna roamed pit road last season, but he will not return. Shannon Spake will take over the third microphone while joining Danielle Trotta and Marty Snider.

Spake hosted the pre- and post-race show last season alongside McMurray and Parker Kligerman, who will not return in 2026.

The other change to know involves Larry McReynolds. The former crew chief-turned-analyst co-hosted the truTV AltCast last season with Jeff Burton. Neither will return this season as truTV just broadcasts the standard race feed.

B/R Racing will also have a role this season. Mamba Smith will capture content throughout the race weekend while also working with special race day correspondents. This coverage will be on the B/R app and on YouTube.

The five-race TNT schedule will also cover the second In-Season Challenge, which awards the winner $1 million. The 32 drivers in the tournament will face off in a bracket-style matchup this weekend at Sonoma Raceway.

Sixteen drivers will advance to the second race of the In-Season Challenge. Eight will advance to the third race. Four will advance to the fourth race. Two will face off for $1 million at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
