Busch took part while putting on a showcase of burnout expertise. He did so behind the wheel of the No. 1 Monster Energy Chevrolet Camaro, which he drove during his time at Chip Ganassi Racing (2019-21).
Busch kicked off his burnout as he left the starting line of the hill climb. He roasted his tires for a bit before accelerating away toward a different part of the course. Once he reached a wide section surrounded by hay bales, he began putting on the real smoke show for the fans.
The No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro spun around on the asphalt, leaving tire marks and creating a massive cloud of white smoke. At one point, the Gen 6 Cup Series car actually disappeared from view.
Busch stopped the burnouts briefly, and he let the cloud begin to dissipate. Once the fans could clearly see the No. 1 Chevrolet, he then began another burnout as he raced away.
This trip to the Goodwood Festival of Speed continued what has been a tour of Europe for the Hall of Famer and his Chevrolet. Before heading to West Sussex, he actually took the stock car to Le Mans for a special event.

Busch took part in the HSR NASCAR Classic races at the prestigious road circuit in France on July 4-5. He drove the No. 1 Chevrolet Camaro while facing off with a wide variety of vehicles from NASCAR history.
The Sunday race featured him scoring a podium finish after an exciting final move. He cut underneath JC France, the grandson of Bill France Sr., exiting the final chicane and took third place by a mere 0.011 seconds.
