Cincinnati Reds pitcher Andrew Abbott has plenty to celebrate away from the baseball diamond.

Abbott announced on Instagram that he is engaged to longtime girlfriend and Cincinnati television anchor Lindsay Stone.
"Forever," Abbott captioned a series of photos from the proposal.
The engagement came with an appropriate Cincinnati backdrop. Photos showed the couple celebrating with the city's skyline behind them and Great American Ball Park visible in the distance.
Stone is a familiar face to Cincinnati viewers. She has spent the past three years as an anchor at WLWT after previously working in Indianapolis and South Bend, Indiana, where she covered Notre Dame football.
She recently announced she would be leaving WLWT, though she has not revealed what's next in her broadcasting career.
Abbott, meanwhile, has established himself as one of the Reds' top starting pitchers.
The 26-year-old left-hander earned his first All-Star selection last season after emerging as a key member of Cincinnati's rotation. He finished 2025 with a 10-7 record, 3.97 ERA and a career-high 149 strikeouts.
His 2026 MLB season got off to a rocky start, but Abbott has turned things around in a big way, going 4-0 with a 1.29 ERA over his past five starts.
Not a bad stretch for Abbott. He's winning on the mound, and now he's got something even bigger to celebrate off it.
