Australian tennis star Daria Kasatkina is celebrating a new chapter off the court after marrying longtime girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako in a beachside ceremony in Greece.

Kasatkina announced the wedding on social media, sharing photos from the celebration along with a heartfelt message.
"We just had the best day ever," she wrote. "We celebrated love, freedom and acceptance. No words for now, only appreciation."
The ceremony was attended by several fellow tennis players, including Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and reigning French Open champion Mirra Andreeva.
Kasatkina, one of the highest-ranked players on the WTA Tour, publicly came out in 2022 while representing Russia. She later relocated to Australia, saying she wanted to live openly as a gay woman after speaking out against Russia's invasion of Ukraine and facing restrictions in her home country, where same-sex marriage is not recognized.
Earlier this year, Kasatkina began competing under the Australian flag after completing the change in sporting nationality.
Zabiiako is a former figure skater who won an Olympic silver medal while representing Russia before retiring from competition.
Kasatkina most recently reached the third round at Wimbledon and remains one of Australia's top-ranked women's tennis players.
The couple's wedding photos quickly drew congratulations from fellow athletes and fans across the tennis world.
