As ESPN continues reshaping its talent roster through another round of high-profile layoffs, one familiar face isn't going anywhere.

The network announced it has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, ensuring he'll remain a key part of its college football coverage for years to come.
Tebow will continue serving as an analyst on SEC Network's traveling pregame show, SEC Nation, while also appearing throughout ESPN's College Football Playoff coverage and on programs including College Football Live and SportsCenter.
"I love this game and getting to talk about it every Saturday with the crews on SEC Network and ESPN is a gift I don't take lightly," Tebow said in a statement. "SEC fans bring a passion that never gets old, and I'm grateful I get to keep doing this alongside people who feel like family."
The announcement comes as ESPN has made headlines for a series of layoffs following its acquisition of NFL Network. Among the notable departures were Ryan Clark, Charles Davis, Tom Pelissero, Cam Newton, Bart Scott and Stephania Bell.
While the network has parted ways with several recognizable personalities, Tebow's new agreement signals ESPN still views the former Florida quarterback as a cornerstone of its college football coverage.
"Tim is one of the legendary players in the history of college football," ESPN President of Content Burke Magnus said. "His unrivaled experience in the SEC combined with his knowledge and genuine passion for the game make him one of the sport's most credible voices."
Tebow has been with ESPN since 2014 and has served as one of the network's signature college football analysts for more than a decade.
