English gymnast Gabriel Langton has been released from the hospital after suffering a frightening head-first fall during the men's team final at the Commonwealth Games.

The 18-year-old crashed to the mat after missing a release during his high bar routine, prompting immediate medical attention before he was taken from the arena on a stretcher.
Team England said Langton underwent multiple scans that produced encouraging results.
"Thankfully, he has been cleared of any serious injury complications and will be discharged to return to the team hotel," the team said in a statement.
Officials said Langton was in good spirits and looked forward to rejoining his teammates after England captured the silver medal.
The young gymnast had been added to England's Commonwealth Games roster earlier this month after multiple Olympic medalist Max Whitlock withdrew because of injury.
Langton was unable to join his teammates on the medal podium following the competition, which marked the first time England's men's gymnastics team had not won Commonwealth Games gold since 2010.
Teammate Luke Whitehouse admitted Langton's fall made for an emotional finish but praised the squad for regrouping.
"It was really tough," Whitehouse said. "We just had to reset, try to put it to one side mentally and focus on the job we had to do. I think everyone should be proud of the way we carried on after Gabe's fall."
Despite the frightening accident, Langton's clean bill of health provided welcome news for England and gymnastics fans following one of the most alarming moments of the Commonwealth Games.
