The two race car drivers announced the news with a post on social media. They posted a photo showing a teddy bear, baby shoes, and a mirror providing a view of them kissing. The mirror had the message of "baby" written on the top.
"Love made us two. Life is making us three," Vivien wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.
The pregnancy announcement continues a string of milestone moments for the happy couple. Back on Nov. 6, 2025, Schumacher posted on Instagram and revealed an engagement. He confirmed that Vivien had said, "Yes" after a beachside proposal.
Fast-forward to Feb. 28, 2026, and the race car drivers announced that they had officially tied the knot. They announced the news with a few photos from their wedding. Now, they have announced that they will soon welcome a child together.
Schumacher hails from racing royalty. His father, Ralf, won six Grands Prix during his Formula 1 career. His uncle, Michael, is a seven-time World Drivers' Champion who won 91 times.
The young Schumacher competes in a different form of racing. He is a Ford Factory driver who competes behind the wheel of multiple Mustang GT3 race cars. He recently competed in the prestigious 24 Hours of the Nurburgring, an event in which he scored a class win in 2025.
Vivien, whose maiden name is Keszthelyi, also competed in multiple racing series. This includes the Audi TT Cup, Audi Sport Seyffarth R8 LMS Cup, the W Series, and the Euroformula Open Championship.
Vivien has not been as active in racing in recent years. This will continue as she and Schumacher prepare to welcome their first child together.
