Chase Briscoe is making moves in the world of Sprint Car racing. He has purchased a team that competes full-time in the High Limit Racing series.

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver announced the news on Saturday morning at Iowa Speedway. He said that he has bought out Brent Marks Racing and turned it into Chase Briscoe Racing.
Marks will still continue to drive the No. 19 in the dirt series, but he will no longer have to worry about the ownership side of the business. He will work as general manager of the team, which will remain in Pennsylvania for the foreseeable future.

"Excited to have a full-time car on a national tour," Briscoe told media members. "It's something that, you know, for me has been really a childhood dream ever since I was a little kid. Going to the racetrack and seeing Tony Stewart racing or Kasey Kahne racing and having guys that race on Sunday but then have a sprint car team.
"And for me, it's been probably, I don't know, six months in the works now, and just excited to finally get it all done and really excited to have Brent behind the wheel. He's one of the best in the country. So should be a situation where we can go and kind of just plug and play and instantly be contending for wins and championships."
Marks is currently sixth in the High Limit Racing championship standings. He is 139 points behind championship leader Rico Abreu.
Sprint Cars are ingrained in the Briscoe family. His grandfather became a team owner in the 1970s and celebrated more than 500 wins. Briscoe's father won more than 150 features during his two decades competing.
The current Joe Gibbs Racing driver grew up racing on dirt, and he scored his first win while in his early teens. He has since moved on to the world of stock car racing and the Cup Series, but he has found a way to get back to his first love.
"This is a new chapter in my career and my life in general, and I'm just really excited for it," Marks said. "And when Chase reached out about doing this, you know, I'll be honest with you, I thought it was kind of a joke at first.
"But once we started talking, and I just seen how serious he was about this and wanting to do this, I was like 'You know, I think this is the time. This is the right opportunity for me to take the next step in my career and take that load off my shoulders. Because I'm a race car driver."
Briscoe has long wanted to own a team, but recent moves by series owners Kyle Larson and Brad Sweet have made this a more exciting prospect. They have implemented a charter system, much like the one used in NASCAR. They have forged broadcast partnerships with FloRacing, Prime Video, and Fox Sports.
"There's just a lot of growth that's still there," Briscoe added. "It's a relatively new series, right? So, yeah, it's been something that I would say from really the get go when High Limit announced the whole franchise thing, that was something that I thought could, down the road, be a viable option."
