Bodycam footage has been released showing the traffic stop that led to former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo's arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence in Milwaukee.

The video, obtained by TMZ, shows an officer approaching Romo's vehicle and explaining that he had been stopped because of alleged unsafe passing and other risky driving maneuvers.
Romo told the officer he was in the area visiting his grandparents and later said he had been coming from a golf course.
When asked whether he had consumed alcohol, Romo denied drinking and said he was preparing for a tournament.
The officer then asked him to exit his vehicle and perform field sobriety tests.

Romo initially attempted to call his attorney for advice before getting out of the vehicle. The officer told him he could not make the call at that point and again instructed him to step outside.
Romo complied, exited the vehicle and was patted down before being detained and taken to a level area for the sobriety testing.
The footage later shows him being placed inside a police vehicle, where the longtime NFL quarterback commented on the tight fit.
Romo, 46, spent his entire 14-year NFL career with the Cowboys and became one of the franchise's most recognizable quarterbacks. He moved into broadcasting after retiring and has served as CBS Sports' lead NFL analyst alongside Jim Nantz.
Romo is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 21 in connection with the case.
