College football fans hoping for another season of Netflix's behind-the-scenes look at the SEC are going to have to wait.

"SEC Football: Any Given Saturday" won't return for a second season in 2026, according to Front Office Sports.
That doesn't necessarily mean the show is dead.
The seven-episode series debuted last summer and followed 10 SEC programs throughout the 2024 season, giving viewers access to players, coaches, locker rooms and team facilities.
"Our original plan was to do one season and then reassess," an SEC spokesperson told Front Office Sports. "We have discussed the possibility of a second season, as well as whether there may be other opportunities or approaches worth exploring."
No second season has been filmed.
The first season featured programs including South Carolina, LSU, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Texas A&M. Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Oklahoma were among the notable schools that didn't participate.
South Carolina was featured heavily, and the school apparently enjoyed the experience despite the work involved.
"We thought our appearance on Netflix last year was beneficial for us," a school spokesperson told FOS, adding that South Carolina would be open to participating again.
So how did the series perform?
According to Netflix data cited by FOS, "Any Given Saturday" generated 3 million views from its August 2025 debut through the end of that year, plus another 200,000 during the first half of 2026.
For comparison, the second season of Peyton Manning's "Quarterback" drew 5.6 million views during the second half of 2025.
There won't be another SEC season this year.
But the door hasn't been closed on eventually heading back inside college football's most famous conference.
