Wide receiver Jake Bobo has been placed on Injured Reserve after suffering a serious knee injury in a joint practice session with the Tennessee Titans. He will miss the entire 2026-27 NFL season while recovering.

Safety Bud Clark will miss several months after breaking his ankle during Sunday night's preseason game against the Titans, head coach Mike Macdonald confirmed.

Clark, a second-round pick out of TCU, entered the preseason primed to take a major role in the Seahawks defense. However, he had to be carted from the field on Sunday night after sustaining the injury. He will now focus on recovery and a return to the field at some point in the future.

Bobo, who returned to the Seahawks on a two-year deal worth $5.5 million, was carted off the practice field on Friday. He remained on the ground after attempting to make a leaping catch.

The Seahawks did not initially know the extent of the serious injury, but Macdonald indicated that it would keep Bobo out of the lineup for an extended period of time.

"Our heart goes out to Jake Bobo, it seems like it's going to be a serious knee," Macdonald said after practice. "We're going to get it imaged, but early returns, it looks like it's a long-term injury. That's unfortunate."

Bobo has not been a starter during his time in Seattle (2023-present), but the undrafted free agent has carved out a significant role in multiple areas. He has been an option in the passing attack, and he has been a major contributor on special teams.

Bobo's biggest play happened during last season's NFC championship. He caught a touchdown pass during the third quarter and helped the Seahawks extend the lead to 23-13 over the rival Rams. The Seahawks went on to win the NFC and then Super Bowl 60.
