The NASCAR lineup pieces are falling into place for the 2027 season as Legacy Motor Club provides another piece of information.

The Cup Series team has hired Jeremy Bullins to become the crew chief of the No. 84 team as Legacy Motor Club expands to three full-time entries. He will be atop the pit box, and he will work with Riley Herbst as the Las Vegas native continues his Cup Series career.
"Jeremy Bullins' experience and leadership are exactly what we need on the No. 84," said Jimmie Johnson, co-owner of Legacy Motor Club.
"He has a proven record of success at every level of NASCAR, but what truly sets him apart is his ability to develop talent, build winning cultures, and embrace innovation. Pairing him with Riley creates a strong foundation for the No. 84 team to compete, evolve, and achieve long-term success."

This signing follows a significant change at another team. Bullins had been leading the No. 6 team at RFK Racing after taking over the role for the 2025 season and beyond.
But the team announced after the race weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway that Bullins would embark on a new opportunity.
"Jeremy has been a terrific teammate, leader, and vital member of our competition think tank," RFK Racing said while announcing Bullins' departure.
"Not only has he been a trusted voice with the (No. 6) team, but he's also brought great value to the garage in sharing strategic insights and historical perspective as we've crafted a shared vision for RFK Racing's on-track success."
Bullins has been a crew chief at the national NASCAR level since 2012 when he first led Team Penske's O'Reilly Auto Parts Series operation. He led the team to the owner's championship in 2013 and then he moved to the Cup Series to work with multiple drivers.
Bullins has guided four Cup Series drivers to a combined 10 wins. He won three races with Ryan Blaney in 2017-19, five races with Brad Keselowski in 2020-21, the Daytona 500 with Austin Cindric in 2022, and the Daytona summer race with Harrison Burton in 2024.
Now, the veteran crew chief will begin working with Herbst, who enters his third year in the Cup Series. Legacy Motor Club has said that the team views Herbst as the future, and Bullins will be the one tasked with helping him become a consistent competitor.
"Jeremy is a very respected and successful figure in this sport, and we are thrilled to have him leading the No. 84 program," said Jacob Canter, SVP, Sporting Director of Legacy MC.
"His experience building race-winning teams and his ability to develop drivers makes him an outstanding fit for Riley and for what we are building with the No. 84. Jeremy's also an organizational thinker who will contribute to Legacy's overall program to the benefit of Riley's teammates in the No. 42 and No. 43."
