A championship-winning NASCAR organization is making another move ahead of the 2027 Craftsman Truck Series season. Front Row Motorsports is bringing in a race-winning driver.

Jake Garcia will make the move from ThorSport Racing after the 2026 season, and he will take over the No. 38 Ford F-150 at Front Row Motorsports. He will replace Chandler Smith, who heads to Richard Childress Racing and the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
This move comes less than two weeks after Garcia scored his first career Craftsman Truck Series win at Bristol Motor Speedway.
"We're excited to have Jake join us next season," said Jerry Freeze, General Manager of Front Row Motorsports. "He displayed it at Bristol, and over his entire Truck Series career, he has the talent, abilities and personal motivation to keep our No. 38 team at the top of the heap and continue to help FRM set the bar in the series.
"We're confident in what Jake brings to the table, and we look forward to seeing him put in the work during the offseason, to get ready for 2027."

The Georgia native has spent his national series career competing in the Craftsman Truck Series and primarily driving for ThorSport Racing. Though he made 27 starts for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in 2022 and 2023.
Garcia has 28 top-10 finishes, six top-fives, and one win in his career. He has won the pole in five races, and he has competed in the playoffs one time.
Garcia will now continue his full-time career by joining another Ford Racing-supported team. He will take over a truck that Smith has used to win four races over the past two seasons. He will become teammates with Layne Riggs, who returns to the No. 34 in 2027.
"I'm very thankful to get the opportunity to compete for Front Row Motorsports, in the NASCAR Truck Series," Garcia said. "They are one of the top teams in the series and have proven that their equipment can win any given week, no matter the track.
"I appreciate Bob (Jenkins, owner) and Jerry (Freeze, GM) for giving me this shot. With their support, I think that I can continue to build upon the success that other drivers have had in the No. 38 truck and be a contender for the title in 2027."
