Michael O'Keefe can still spot the Caddyshack scenes he filmed after using cocaine. They aren't moments he enjoys revisiting.

The actor, who played caddie Danny Noonan in the 1980 golf comedy, admitted using the drug during production in an interview with Page Six's Nicki Gostin.

"It was not my favorite memory because in retrospect I can see those moments on camera and I'm not too happy about them," O'Keefe said.
O'Keefe, 71, described widespread cocaine use during the film's 11-week shoot in fall 1979. He also claimed it was accounted for in the production budget under a miscellaneous expense.
"There was some miscellaneous item," he told Page Six.
That is O'Keefe's account of the production, which featured Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield and Ted Knight.
He said the experience changed his view of cocaine and marked the end of his use.
"I realized that it was a terrible thing to get involved [with], and like so many things in the drug world, it looked like fun, but in reality, it wasn't," he said.
O'Keefe also described the subsequent death of "Caddyshack" co-writer and producer Doug Kenney as a personal wake-up call.
The actor discussed those memories while promoting A Break in the Rain, his latest film. His career has also included an Oscar-nominated performance in The Great Santini, work on Roseanne and a role as Jon Hamm's father in Your Friends and Neighbors.
"So the fact that I'm still standing is kind of the happiest thing that I have to report," O'Keefe said.
