Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo have a new addition to the family, and their daughter Colette has a new role: big sister.

The San Francisco 49ers running back and his model wife announced Saturday that their son, Roman Augustus McCaffrey, was born Sept. 29.
The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post, featuring black-and-white hospital photos with McCaffrey beside Culpo and both parents holding their newborn.
"Roman Augustus McCaffrey," Culpo wrote, adding a white heart emoji.
She kept her reaction equally simple on Instagram Stories: "Heart is exploding."
Colette, now 14 months old, also appeared in the family's photos. Another image showed Culpo holding Roman outdoors with her daughter standing beside her, according to PEOPLE's Charlotte Phillipp.
McCaffrey, 30, and Culpo, 34, married in 2024 and welcomed Colette in July 2025.
They announced the second pregnancy on Culpo's birthday in May, sharing picnic photos with their daughter, their dog Oliver and a strip of sonogram images.
"Best birthday gift," Culpo wrote at the time.
The couple later shared a video of themselves learning the pregnancy-test result before breaking the news to their families.
"You're pregnant!" McCaffrey said.
Now, a little more than a year after becoming parents, they're celebrating another arrival. Colette won't have to wait long for company at home.
