The College Football Hall of Fame had their grand opening in Atlanta on Saturday, and college football fans from around the country were in attendance to see the brand new facility. We went to the festivities and took plenty of pictures of the experience (including the image above of the Hall from Centennial Olympic Park). Here are some of our favorites:

The first thing that greets you as you enter the Hall of Fame is the wall of 768 helmets from every program in the country.

The Chick-fil-a Fan Experience where fans can kick field goals, run through an obstacle course, and participate in passing drills on a 45-yard long turf field.

While the exhibits and activities are great, it was even better to see the fans so excited for the Hall of Fame and enjoying the activities like this Auburn couple standing next to the Cam Newton display.

Not surpisingly SEC fans were ubiquitous at the opening, but these Southern Cal fans made the trip for the opening as well.
