War veteran, UFC fighter received a "credible" ISIS threat and responded in the most American way

What a legend.

As if being a UFC fighter wasn't reason enough to stay out of Tim Kennedy's way, the middleweight contender (18-5) is also a former special forces soldier.

So when ISIS reportedly hit Kennedy with a "credible threat," the current fighter refused to back down from a group he called "cowards."

Here are the details, per Army Times: (H/T Uproxx)

"The FBI reached out to Kennedy Wednesday.

"They said, 'Are you aware of this stuff?' I said, 'Yes.' They said, 'We think this is somewhat credible,'" Kennedy said. "Then I said, 'I'm kind of desensitized to this stuff, so maybe you should tell me what my level of alarm should be.'"

Kennedy said he typically gets 5-10 threats per day on his social media accounts from "military trolls" who target high-profile military figures, per the report. Despite the threat, it looks like Kennedy won't back down from any potential attack, no matter who it's coming from.

Doesn't get much more American than that.
