It looks like Urban Meyer and Ohio State will look to continue being a thorn in the side of the SEC.

It was announced on Tuesday that the Buckeye head coach would be holding a satellite camp this summer in Jacksonville, FL. The purpose of the camps are purely for recruiting, as prospects will be invited in an attempt to give Ohio State a boost in recruiting from the southern states.

This is not the first time this has been done, as both Meyer and Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh held recruiting camps in the south in 2015. The satellite camps for schools in the North could become increasing important over the next several years, as the South is only becoming more and more of a hotbed for the top college football recruits. For the 2016 recruiting class, half of the recruits that signed to Power 5 schools came from just eight states in the South.
The SEC is already fed up with Harbaugh attempting to hold spring practices in Florida over the school's spring break, so it will be interesting to see if the conference tries to come up with any measures to prevent the out-of-conference coaches from infringing on their prized territory. At least for now, it looks like Michigan and Ohio State are willing to get their hands dirty to win the southern recruiting battles.

I guess we will have to wait and see if the SEC responds to this in any form.
