Things got heated fast for "Sandlot" star Marty York over the weekend.

According to TMZ, York was involved in a physical altercation outside the Warwick nightclub on Sunset Boulevard, and the whole thing was caught on video. It didn't take long to escalate.
Footage shows York squaring up with a larger man on the sidewalk before the fight spills into a nearby parking garage. At one point, York rips off his shirt as the two start trading punches between parked cars.
It wasn't exactly clean boxing. Both guys looked unsteady during the exchange, and York took a few shots to the face while throwing some of his own. His opponent even hit the ground after unleashing a quick flurry.

York later claimed to TMZ that he wasn't the aggressor.
"Some unknown individual charged at me, and I had to defend myself," he said.
The actor, best known for playing Alan "Yeah-Yeah" McClennan in The Sandlot, didn't have police get involved. According to the report, no officers were called to the scene.
So it ends the way a lot of late-night Hollywood chaos does: a viral video, a few bruises and more questions than answers.
