Video appears to show three Mexico supporters confronting a man wearing a Team USA shirt. After exchanging words, the group began throwing haymakers as nearby fans scrambled to get out of the way.
The fight spilled across several rows of seats before the American fan was knocked down a set of stairs. That still did not end it.
When he got back to his feet, another Team USA supporter jumped into the fray and the fight briefly continued before others stepped in to break it up.
So far, it is unclear what sparked the altercation, and there has been no public word on whether anyone involved faced punishment from stadium security or law enforcement.
Meanwhile, the action on the field turned out much better for the home crowd. Behind a strong performance from Aaron Judge and solid pitching from Paul Skenes, Team USA defeated Mexico 5-3.
Still, the wild scene in the stands may end up being the clip fans remember most from the night.
