Sajak and Jackson Olson announced the news with a photo of them on a trip to a Disney park. They posed in front of Cinderella's Castle while Sajak wore a pair of Mickey Mouse ears.
"Applications closed," Olson wrote in the caption of the Instagram post. He also shared a reel showing him standing in a bathroom and lip-syncing the lyrics to Olivia Dean's So Easy (To Fall In Love).
The comment about the application goes back to a post that he made on social media in December 2025. He posted a video showing him dancing during a Savannah Bananas game and using the baseball bat as his microphone.
Olson wrote in the post that he has been single for five years, and he has been getting tired of it. "So here is my official 2026 boyfriend application."
The baseball player/dancer then listed off his attributes. The list included dancing on the baseball field, his love of going to Disney, his knowledge of Taylor Swift songs, his unhealthy diet that includes Raising Cane's, his favorite bar being Epcot, and how he still builds LEGO sets at the age of 28.
The Taylor Swift knowledge and a deep love of musicals have helped Olson become so much more than a third baseman for the Savannah Bananas. He has earned the nickname of "The Greatest Showman" while dancing, singing, and taking part in trick plays.
Months after saying that applications were open — and receiving what he described as "unhinged" — he appears to have found his match. He connected with Sajak, who is a social correspondent on Wheel of Fortune. Now, they are sharing their love on their social media channels.
