Former WWE Superstar Torrie Wilson opened up about one of the most difficult periods of her life.

In a recent social media post, Wilson, who turns 51 in July, reflected back on turning 40 and described it as a time when she felt "heartbroken" and uncertain about the future.
The WWE Hall of Famer addressed a difficult chapter of her life and admitted she was struggling more than many people realized at the time. The referenced stretch came just after the end of her high-profile relationship with former MLB star Alex Rodriguez. The couple dated for roughly three years before separating in late 2014.
"I don't know who needs to hear this but at 40 I was heartbroken, single and nowhere near having my own lil family," she wrote. "The thought of even being in a relationship with someone who cared about my well being seemed like a joke. I have so much gratitude for that low point. It was the straw that sparked my awakening.
"Not sure who needs to hear it but the only timeline you are on is the one YOU make for your own life. Throw the dang timer in the trash and hold onto your hope."
At the time, Wilson was entering a new stage of life and trying to figure out what came next. Looking back now, however, she sees that period much differently.
Wilson said the challenges she faced ultimately helped shape the person she would become, adding that some of life's hardest moments can eventually lead to unexpected blessings.
Her story has certainly taken a different turn in the years since.
Wilson married businessman Justin Tupper in 2019, and the couple welcomed a child in 2025.
Today, the former WWE Superstar frequently shares messages about health, fitness, gratitude and personal growth with her followers.
For Wilson, what once felt like a low point eventually became the beginning of an entirely new chapter.
And looking back, it's one she appears grateful she never gave up on.
