Ganley's death was confirmed by Integralmédica, a Brazilian supplement brand that worked with the young athlete. In a social media tribute posted Saturday, the company described Ganley as an athlete who "lived intensely" and inspired thousands through fitness and bodybuilding content.

"Today we lost far more than a talented and dedicated athlete with a bright future ahead," the company wrote in a statement translated from Portuguese. "We lost a sports influencer who inspired thousands of young people daily with his energy, discipline and authenticity."

Ganley had built a large online following through bodybuilding and fitness videos, amassing more than 2 million followers on Instagram along with sizable audiences on TikTok and YouTube.

Authorities have not publicly confirmed a cause of death.

According to CNN Brasil, Ganley was found dead Friday inside his apartment in São Paulo. The outlet, citing local public security officials, reported that a friend discovered him in the kitchen and that investigators found no apparent signs of violence at the scene.

Police are reportedly investigating the case as a suspicious and sudden death.

In the days following the announcement, fellow fitness influencers and bodybuilders flooded Ganley's social media pages with tributes and messages of support for his family.

"You will always be with us," fellow bodybuilder Renato Cariani wrote in response to one of Ganley's final Instagram posts.

Last month, Ganley shared a video documenting his bodybuilding journey over several years, showing his physical transformation from a young gym enthusiast into a competitive athlete.

"While there's a 1% chance, there's 99% faith," he wrote in the caption.
