A well-known Brazilian bodybuilder and fitness figure has died after falling from the roof of her apartment building, according to police in Rio de Janeiro.

Diana Arêas, a nutritionist and bodybuilding influencer with more than 200,000 Instagram followers, was found in the common area of her complex in Campos on Thursday, per J3News. Authorities say first responders had visited her apartment earlier in the day and discovered her with multiple lacerations.
She was taken to a local hospital for treatment but left without medical clearance.
Hours later, residents reported that her body had been found on the grounds of the building. Police have not released further details and say the investigation remains ongoing.

Arêas built a major online following through her training videos, nutrition advice and bodybuilding work. Her Instagram account featured daily gym clips, transformation tips and competition updates.
The rising bodybuilder had competed regularly in fitness events in Brazil and had just promoted a new "summer challenge" for her followers five days before her death.
Tributes from fans poured into the comments of her final post.
"I'm sorry as we won't have your genius anymore," one follower wrote. Another added, "Rest in peace, my friend. We're sorry we couldn't help you."
Her family and local authorities have not released additional information as they continue to review the circumstances surrounding her death.
