To point out this comes after Canelo already had a verbal agreement to fight Terrance Crawford (41-0).
Yet, it now appears Canelo, 34, is making a financial decision to fight Paul, 28, as sports promoter Eddie Hearn echoed that sentiment when announcing the fight.
"For boxing fans Canelo vs Crawford is one of the best fights that could ever get made. But I know Canelo and if that fight (against Paul) is on the table for that kind of money he's going to take it," Hearn said.
if Canelo actually cancelled a fight with TERENCE CRAWFORD to go and negotiate with JAKE PAUL then this might be a new all time low for the sport https://t.co/dXXH0EhckR

When Hearn was asked how many rounds he thinks the fight will go, he said that's up to Canelo, insinuating it will be an easy victory for the Mexican boxer, who has become world champion in four weight classes.
"However many rounds Canelo wants it to be. I mean the only thing is Jake's going to be a lot heavier and bigger. No disrespect to Jake's ability as a fighter but he's fighting Canelo Alvarez, who is one of the top fighter in the world. So, like, he's going to get spanked but he's going to make a lot of money whilst receiving the spanking."

To point out, this fight was in Jake Paul's plans all along as he has gone on the record stating that he wanted to face-off vs. Canelo.
Three years ago ahead of his fight with Tyron Woodley, Paul talked about challenging the first undisputed super middleweight champion.
