Jake Paul fired back at Conor McGregor's recent claims about a potential fight between McGregor and his older brother, Logan, sending a clear message Tuesday that the Pauls aren't interested in just any fight with the UFC star.

It all started earlier in the day when McGregor posted on X (formerly Twitter), announcing that he had agreed to a boxing exhibition with Logan Paul in India, dismissing rumors of a fight with UFC featherweight Ilia Topuria.
"The rumors of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed," McGregor wrote, signaling his intent to step into the ring with Logan.
But Jake, never one to hold back, quickly responded, dismissing McGregor's announcement.
"Now it all makes sense why Conor McGregor & his management team have been desperately trying to get MVP to negotiate for a fight between us," Jake posted.
MVP is Jake's boxing promotion company, and he made it clear that any talks between him and McGregor for a professional fight would only happen if UFC president Dana White and the UFC were directly involved.
"The only way we're willing to explore me vs Conor in a pro boxing/MMA fight is if Dana White/UFC are at the table directly or make it clear they are okay with discussions."

Jake didn't hold back in his assessment of McGregor's current status either.
"Conor is washed," he wrote bluntly, adding, "Logan by however he wants."
McGregor, 36, has been out of the MMA scene since 2021, with back-to-back losses to Dustin Poirier. Meanwhile, Jake Paul has been steadily building his boxing career, while Logan has dipped his toes into the ring with several exhibition and amateur bouts.
It's clear the Paul brothers are calling the shots when it comes to McGregor, and they're not afraid to set the terms for any potential fight.
