Most NBA mock drafts had Kentucky guard Jamal Murray going anywhere from the No. 3 pick (Celtics) to No. 8 (Kings) and he ended up getting drafted by the Denver Nuggets at the seventh pick. Tyler Ulis and Skal Labissiere fell pretty far considering most people had Labissiere as a lottery pick and Ulis was a late first-rounder.

After getting six Wildcats drafted last year, Calipari could "only" muster three this season. Labissiere ended up getting taken 28th overall by the Phoenix Suns and was actually traded to the Sacramento Kings. That means he'll get to team up with fellow Kentucky alum Willie Cauley-Stein.
Ulis will join some other former UK guards in Phoenix in the form of Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe as he was taken with the 34th overall pick of the draft. Coach Cal was hoping to see Alex Poythress drafted as well, but he was not taken in the 60-pick draft, but has already landed on his feet with a Summer League team.

While this year's haul for Calipari might be a disappointment by his standards, there are a ton of other schools who would have loved to have even one player drafted —- like the rival Florida Gators. And with the class Calipari has coming in this year he may end up with some more top picks next year anyway.
