When breaking down these Aggies games, we typically talk about the contributions of certain players that you know are going to give you something and be productive every game. Players such as superstar guard Chennedy Carter led the Aggies with 28 points against Ole Miss to extend her streak of scoring at least 20 points to five-straight games. Ciera Johnson had 13 points and eight rebounds, and Kayla Wells showed out with 17 points of her own.
Aggies head coach Gary Blair has to be excited about what he is seeing out his squad at this point as they are not just winning, but they are controlling games. They are dominating in the fourth quarters of games and playing super aggressive on the boards and attacking the basket inside, but they're dominating in one area that's giving them a ton of success.

This recent winning streak's most interesting statistic is free throw shooting as the Aggies have had over 25 free throw attempts for the sixth straight game. Not only are they getting plenty of foul shots, but they are making them at a very high percentage. Against Ole Miss, the Aggies shot 23-of-27, which was a SEC season-high for free throws made in a game and percentage at 85.2 percent. They are taking more free throws than the NBA's free throw king, James Harden of the Houston Rockets, and that's saying something.
This style of basketball is wearing teams down. The opposing teams are getting tired in the second half and the Aggies keep coming. The past few teams have not had an answer for the heavy rotation of guards driving to the basket.

The Aggies wrap up their road trip on Thursday, February 7 at Missouri. If they stay aggressive on offense, remain tenacious on the glass, and keep getting to the line like James Harden, they can keep the streak going.
