Bill Self continues to close out recruiting strong with newest commit

Another huge get for Kansas and Bill Self.

Kansas coach Bill Self is known for closing out recruiting cycles pretty strong and it looks like he is doing that again for 2016. He already locked up Mitch Lightfoot, but he is believed to be a work in progress. Five-star center Udoka Azubuike might be the college-ready prospect that Self is looking for as he is guaranteed to lose Perry Ellis and Jamari Traylor after this year.

The 6'11", 270-pounder can step in one of those spots with Cheick Diallo or Carlton Bragg playing beside him —- should Diallo decide to stay —- and will just have to adjust to the speed of the game. Azubuike had offers from Kentucky, Duke, FSU, and UNC.
