That's right, the sons of former Duke star and NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer are heading to Durham, continuing the family's Blue Devil legacy. Cameron, ranked No. 2 in the class by 247Sports, and Cayden, ranked No. 21, give Scheyer a huge boost as he starts building Duke's 2025 class.

The Boozer brothers chose Duke over Miami, with Florida also in the running. With these commitments, Duke's 2025 class rockets up to No. 5 in the 247Sports rankings, and it's no coincidence that they're the sons of a guy who helped Duke win a national title in 2001. That's a storyline Blue Devil fans will love, but Scheyer's success in landing elite talent is becoming a trend of its own.

Let's start with Cameron Boozer, the 6-foot-9 forward who's been compared to Kevin Love for his ability to throw long outlet passes. 247Sports' Adam Finkelstein went as far as to call him "the best long outlet passer the high school game has seen since Kevin Love."

But Cameron's game goes way beyond passing. He's a smart, versatile forward who can handle the ball, attack off the dribble, and even stretch the floor, shooting 36% from deep and 84% from the line in the EYBL. He doesn't need to dominate the ball to make an impact—he just knows how to play the game at a high level. And that fits right into what Duke does best.

His twin brother, Cayden, brings something different to the table. Cayden is a true guard, with great size and strength, who knows how to run an offense. Finkelstein says Cayden reads ball screens well, is crafty in the lane, and is improving as a shooter.

His three-point percentage dipped this past season, but his winning pedigree is undeniable—he and Cameron have won three state titles in Florida and three consecutive Nike EYBL championships.

Scheyer's ability to stack these types of recruits is becoming a hallmark of his tenure at Duke. Since taking over for Mike Krzyzewski, Scheyer has locked down commitments from 11 top-25 players, including the Boozer brothers. The Blue Devils had the No. 2 recruiting class in 2023, followed by the top class in 2024, and now with the Boozers in the mix, Scheyer is showing no signs of slowing down.

And he's not done yet. Duke is still in the hunt for some other big names in 2025, including Koa Peat (No. 6), Shelton Henderson (No. 15), and Nikolas Khamenia (No. 19).

With the National Early Signing Period coming up, Scheyer has plenty of time to cement another top-ranked class. For now, the Boozer twins are just the start. Duke's recruiting machine is fully operational, and Jon Scheyer is proving to be a master at the controls.
