According to Jeff Greer of The Courier-Journal, Bowen's status in Louisville's registrar's office has changed from application to matriculation. That came from a school spokesman and he also says that Bowen has enrolled in summer classes already.
Several schools had been after him for some time now and here's a complete list:
Louisville, Oregon, Creighton, DePaul, UCLA all involved at some point in last few weeks. https://t.co/XgbyTjEUcT

Louisville had seemingly come out of nowhere in the recruitment for the Michigan native and it looks like Rick Pitino might have just pulled off a huge coup in that regard. If the decision sticks on Saturday, Bowen will join fellow five-star recruit Malik Williams in the class along with three other 4-star recruits in Darius Perry, Jordan Nwora and Lance Thomas.
Bowen is a 6'7" forward in the class and is ranked by ESPN as the No. 3 small forward in the country —- behind Michael Porter Jr. and Kevin Knox —- as well as the top recruit in the state of Michigan and No. 13 overall in the class of 2017.
