Caitlin Clark Offered Big Money To Play In Ice Cube's Big3 League

Iowa star Caitlin Clark already has a chance to earn even more dough and get an early start to her professional career.

Clark may be the most recognizable name in college basketball — men or women — and as relayed by TMZ Sports, this is something already being recognized by legendary rapper and actor Ice Cube. According to the outlet, Clark has been offered $5 million to play for Ice Cube's Big3 League.

The Big3 consists of former NBA players who are either past their prime or veteran free agents who are aiming for another shot. It features, of course, 3-on-3 halfcourt games.

Ice Cube confirmed that the door is open for Clark to join.

Granted, Clark will soon be headed for the WNBA, and she will be the absolute biggest draw when she gets there. She already has picked up several endorsements with the Hawkeyes. But the highest-paid WNBA players earn about $240,000 per year. Clark would be doubling that, at least, per game in the Big3.

Plenty of WNBA players head overseas to earn more money, so Clark playing in an additional league wouldn't be out of the ordinary. If she were to choose to do so, of course.

Clark and the Hawkeyes are getting ready to face Colorado in the Sweet 16 after beating West Virginia. If both Iowa and LSU win (the Tigers play UCLA), a rematch of last season's NCAA championship game would take place in the Elite Eight.
