March Madness is here and CBS is already making room for it.

With the NCAA Tournament taking over TV for the next few weeks, several CBS shows are getting bumped off the schedule as the network leans fully into wall-to-wall basketball coverage.
No surprise. This happens every year. But if you watch CBS regularly, it's going to shake things up.
The biggest hit comes on Thursday and Friday nights. Shows like Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, Ghosts, Matlock and Elsbeth won't air on March 19 or March 26.
Friday's lineup is also taking a break. Sheriff Country, Fire Country, and Boston Blue are all off the schedule on March 20 and March 27.
So yeah, that's a big chunk of primetime gone. Even 48 Hours is getting trimmed down. Instead of its usual two-hour block, it'll only air from 10 to 11 p.m. on March 21 and March 28.
Not everything is changing, though. CBS is leaving its Sunday lineup alone. Marshals, Tracker, and Watson will all air as scheduled on March 22 and March 29.
The reason for all this is simple. March Madness is one of the biggest events in sports. Games will air across CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV, with streaming on Paramount+ and HBO Max.
Once the tournament tips off, everything else takes a back seat. For fans of those shows, it's a temporary pause.
For college basketball fans, it's the best time of the year.
