Kentucky won its 29th SEC Tournament title on Sunday and that was good enough to make them a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Earlier in the month, Calipari talked about how Ulis will not only get drafted, but drafted this year. He also said that he deserves to be named Player of the Year!
Coach Cal: "Tyler Ulis is the player of the year in the country, everyone knows it but they're afraid to say it because he's 5-foot-9"

Thomas was the last pick of his draft and he just happened to end up in the right situation. Ulis has been great this season no doubt —- he's averaged 16.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game —- and was named the SEC Player of the Year.
