Kentucky coach John Calipari has a reputation for being a bit heartless or sometimes not as caring about his players as other coaches might be. This kind of quote right after his season ended at the hands of Indiana doesn't help his case either. He's not talking about his current group of guys and instead is already talking about his 2016 recruiting class.
Granted, this class is mega loaded with five 5-star recruits, four of which are ranked top 15 nationally. He has De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, "Bam" Adebayo, Wenyen Gabriel, Tai Wynyard from New Zealand and Sacha Killeya-Jones. Cal will certainly have a lot more depth next year even if Jamal Murray and Tyler Ulis decide to go pro. Skal Labissiere might stay another year and that could definitely help out Calipari, but we will have to wait and see.
