Most coaches would probably be pretty upset that their team lost a game. Especially when they lose in the way Kentucky did at Texas A&M. A technical to give the other team the chance to tie and then a buzzer-beater putback would devastate a lot of other coaches, but John Calipari is not most coaches.

He took to Twitter to explain why he wasn't upset with his team despite a close loss and a devastating one.
Players couldn’t understand why I wasn’t mad about the loss yesterday. They’ve never seen me this way after a game like that.

It’s really simple: I feel really good about the game because our kids fought.

They fought and put us in a position to win and things happened out of their control. Can’t be mad at that.

We’re getting better. Now we have to figure out, if Derek can’t play, how do we play?

That makes sense and the Wildcats will definitely have to figure out a new game plan if Derek Willis' ankle sprain turns out to be as serious as Coach Cal thinks it is.
