Kentucky already had five high-profile commits in the class with four of them being ranked five stars by ESPN. That doesn't stop coach Cal from picking up more though as he just landed a sixth in shooting guard Jemari Baker.

He was committed to California-Berkeley until Cuonzo Martin took the Missouri job and then backed off his pledge and got a release from the school. And it would seem that Baker fits the profile of exactly what the 2017 class needed.

The Wildcats had already picked up some big men in Nick Richards and P.J. Washington as well as point guards in Shai Giligeous-Alexander and Quade Green. They are also still in the mix for another big man in Mo Bamba as well as forward Kevin Knox.
